sugod

so a project 365. this has been one of my many things in my to-do-list. but i never got around. good thing i have someone that inspires me, that supports and reminds me that i have gifts to be thankful for. so what better way to start the new year then a change for the better right? i hope i really stick with this..

anyway. today was just insanely a joyride! after staying up late watching fireworks go off from all over our neighborhood (people tend to be really competitive), we decided to stay up a little later and play cranium and i was still able to prove myself to be the ultimate star performer! hahahaha. i thank God for this gift. hahaha. the for new year, we had to do what we always do: have chinese noodles for breakfast with the entire clan and visit relatives all over cebu.. but this time, it was sort of different because we got to see amazing animals that i never thought existed in cebu.. in our aunt's house! hahaha. beagles where sooo cute. and by beagles i mean.. lots and lots and lots of them jumping and running around their cages.. then there were THIGH-SIZED carp(s). crazy big. i wonder how they taste when cooked. hmmmmm. then there were these land turtles i got to carry. a few of them bigger than my head:) i was like this child again set loose in a zoo.. it was amazing!!

then there was this little bugger
so cute. he curls up everytime my shutter sounds. i learned something valuable today. hedgehogs never want their young seen by others at an early stage. if people take a peek at their babies, they gobble them up! scareeeeh! i'm glad i'm not a hedgehog!

anyhoo, that's the adventure today. i'm off to maya to celebrate the HOLE-IN-ONE shot of my uncle! can youn imagine the odds of sinking a tiny ball into a tiny tiny TINY hole that's FARFARFAR away??? that's why this celebration is a must! till next time (which is tomorrow i hope) tahtah!

here's to those who enjoy sex as much as humans do

my first day off since i came to dumaguete. thank you dad for deciding to celebrate your birthday with your favorite despite only daughter here in the city of universities. mwah! but unfortunately my dad couldn't join us for this trip to the sand bar. what a way to celebrate huh? but calvin was there. proxy. haha. and his beaux for a daughter dior, which i would like to officially change to DORA THE EXPLORER!! you'll see why in a bit.

now, isn't this the purrrfect spot to chill. i just wish i had tons of beer. to drink and to help my tan. oh well, not everyone gets their cake and eats it too..

TADA!!! HERE IS DORA!!!! hahahaha. i told ya... and off we go to explore unchartered waters..

this was my first time dolphin watching really. closest i've been to them before, was TV.

here's one taking a peek at us. "we are but humble explorers!!"

there were at least 30 of them swimming around. either that or it was the same group and they swam really fast to get to different spots in the area!

the hut we stayed in. it was pretty cheap considering the awesomeness of the water!!
i bet she had loads of fun!:) i just hope she remembers this trip. hehehe

here's my brother and his wife jade with dora:)

and here's our tourguides. my cousin annamae and her hubby charles. nice job guys! we had fun! let's do this more often!:D

in the city that always seems to sleep

i've officially moved to dumaguete. it is this small city in negros oriental where to population is around 100,000 give or take but it feels so congested because everyone hangs out in the same place. the mall that is. or maybe i do so that's why i feel that they are always following me. i have been here two weeks now and everyday, it's the same routine, wake up, swim, eat chocolate oatmeal for breakfast, go to work, go home for lunch, siesta, go back to work, wait for store to close, go home, and watch videos until i fall asleep. i thank god i have a boyfriend to talk to otherwise i'd develop foot and mouth disease.. aka having your foot in your mouth because you hardly get to talk. i try to spice things up sometimes.. like i have a break and drink coffee (which is like my favourite drink these days) or i edit photos instead of watching videos... exciting changes yes? oh definitely.

family is great here though. i havent hung out with them for the longest time. i remember coming here during the summers when i wouldn't want to learn piano or tap dancing. no mom. no thanks. i'd rather get a job. so that's what i did. i'd pick up baskets at the supermarket, put price tags on items at the department store. decent job and awesome pay. 30 to 70 pesos a day. considering i never had any daily allowance until i reached college, even 10 bucks a day would thrill me.

i think i just need time to adjust. i still feel incompetent. everyone knows what to do and they all seem so busy. but i'm here sitting down.. trying to find things to do, and after i've done all there is to do, i pretend to still have something work-related to do. but really, i'm blogging or dreaming. i'm hoping this is just a beginner's phase. newbie on hiatus. but i am learning a lot. i hope i get better or busier soon. fingers and toes crossed.

i should not stop with my photos! im just lazy all the time. *GRRRRR's self* i WILL edit photos once a week. like on sundays. if not, may ants crawl up my ass and sting me! so i will see you next week with at least ONE photo. i'd like to start with beijing.. but that's still far away. i think i'd be less lazy if i were thinner.

WISH ME LUCK!!!! xx
